Hotel Hviezdoslav **** is the first boutique hotel in the High Tatras, in the historical centre of the royal town Kežmarok. The hotel owes its name to the most famous Slovak writer Pavol Orságh-Hviezdoslav. The amazing location of the hotel is at the junction of three national parks, Tatra National Park, Pieniny and the National park of Slovenský raj, and was also beautifully expressed by this incredibly talented writer's words: “I am greeting you, the forests, the mountains, I am greeting you from the bottom of my heart!“
Hotel Hviezdoslav writes its own story in the four reconstructed buildings from the 17th century, in one of them the writer himself was living and composing during his studies at the popular lyceum in Kežmarok. It can be you who will wake up same way as the famous writer in one of our 30 Standard, De Luxe or Apartment rooms or in the 7 rooms of not far Depandance Orságh.
Meals that remind our hotel guest of a poem will be prepared for you in the á la carte restaurant Poetry, that offers regional specialities and also international cuisine dishes. We also pay our attention to meat- free meals. The pleasant smells flowing from our hotel kitchen always match the actual season of the year and when preparing the meals we are very much focused on the freshness of the used ingredients.
