Short history of the Directory:

The demand to publish the first COMMERCIAL DIRECTORY® was laid by the top representatives of the CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY in Dubai during the 5th Slovak Fair in 1998.

We have been distributing the Directory to the diplomatic corps of the Slovak Republic and to trade and economy departments of Slovak embassies abroad in co-operation with the Economy Ministry and Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Slovak Republic during eight years. This publication became popular with the employees of the respective ministries during meetings with foreign partners, especially at various exhibitions and symposia.

From the 4th annual volume on, we established closer cooperation with the SOPK regional chambers. Their task is to help the economic growth of their respective regions.

Since 2005, the co-operation in the distribution of the publication extended to the Slovak Chamber of Agriculture and Food and to the House of Slovak Regions in Brussels.
